To further develop the Supply Division of Southeast Milk, Inc. (SMI), the entity has been rebranded as SMI Farm & Ranch. The supply and service company includes the full SMI portfolio of animal health supplies, farm and ranch equipment, cattle working provisions, dairy service and installations expertise, custom-blended chemicals, and show cattle supplies.
In a powerful move in fall 2021, SMI acquired Team Dairy Inc., Southeast Ag Services, and Shamrock Animal Health Services, subsequently obtaining a larger and more diverse portfolio of products and services from the leaders in the dairy industry. “In our vision to better serve our customers, we are excited to now be able to provide access to more parts, equipment, technologies, and service technicians than ever before,” stated Shawn Dyal, CEO.
Further cementing their status as the leader in dairy service, these acquisitions have created an opportunity to expand the reach of SMI service over multiple states. With service technicians certified in specialized areas such as robotics, rotaries, large refrigeration, and equipment installation, SMI can handle any and all preventative maintenance, emergency repair, and installation jobs in the Southeast.
Additional staff specializing in beef cattle have also been added to the SMI Farm & Ranch sales team which collectively covers Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The sales team is well-versed in animal and operational problem solving to bring further value and cost-savings to beef and dairy producers. As SMI Farm & Ranch continues to grow their offerings, expertise, and service options, they are truly positioned for incredible outcomes in supply and service for the dairy and beef cattle industries.
