Beth and her husband, Leon, own and operate their dairy in Olar, South Carolina. They began their herd in 2005 by purchasing some cows and leasing a facility from a neighbor. Over time, they have been able to grow their 150-cow herd from scratch and recently finished construction on a facility to call their own in 2020
The couple enjoys learning new practices, leading the farm to work with groups from Clemson University and the University of South Carolina to develop better, more sustainable farming practices.
